In 2019, DJ Makala and female singer Lidia Insausti joins together in Zarautz to start the Arima Soul project. They both love black music, but especially Soul music. And they’ve clear from that moment they want to set up an organic music group, but at the same time also explore Electronic music combined with Soul music. That's where Arima Soul System comes from, which is basically DJ Makala working on the musical aspects and Lidia Insausti on vocals. To date they have offered a few concerts throughout the Basque Country.

Lidia Insausti, singer and composer from San Sebastian, residing in Zarautz. Coming from a family of musicians, she started singing in the choir at the age of 6, and at 15 she recorded her first demo. During adolescence she began to feel fascination for black music, especially soul, funk & jazz from the 60's and 70's. She is currently one of thethree singers from the gospel group Ispirit, and the lead singer of the group Arima Soul.
